Scott Brody has been involved in Real Estate since 1988 and has extensive knowledge and experience in brokerage, advisory services, property/asset management and building operations.

Mr. Brody specializes in the management of retail, office, industrial and multi-residential, properties within the Southern and Northern California market places. Mr. Brody started his career with Marcus & Millichap, who is the largest investment sales brokerage firm in the Western United States, specializing in the sales of income producing property within Southern California.

In addition, Mr. Brody was the founder of three very successful real estate companies specializing in property tax appeals, brokerage, management, financing and consulting of all types of real estate. These three companies combined represented over $3.5 billion dollars of, multi-residential and commercial property.

A native of California, Mr. Brody received his education from California State University of Northridge, in speech communication with an emphasis in sales and marketing. Mr. Brody is involved in several charitable foundations and resides in Marina Del Rey, California.

Mr. Brody has represented numerous financial institutions and Fortune 500 companies with their real estate requirements. Many of his clients, including those who reside offshore or out of state, rely on Mr. Brody for all of their real estate needs including but not limited to management, as well as handling the acquisition and disposition of property.

Mr. Brody has been used as an expert witness in several Superior Court cases involving real estate values, and has been featured on Channel 9 News, "Your Money" segments. He is currently a CPM candidate and a member of IREM, ICSC, AOA and a RRP certified manager. Mr. Brody has also written several articles for various apartment building and shopping center publications.

Sharon Danel began her career in Estate Management, with a background in Design and Marketing she developed a incredible understanding of the inner workings of a piece of property and every aspect of keeping it maintained. Working in Estate Managment provided a great foundation and knowledge of real estate, property values & renovations.  Hilary Brody serves as a dedicated Property Supervisor and Commercial Real Estate Associate at Scott Properties. Focusing on stellar property management, she also handles the exclusive listing and sale of investment properties across the Los Angeles Area. Previously working with Angel City Investments, she has won top achievement awards in both 2012 and 2013 as a leading a agent at the BHHS Cal brokerage office in Los Feliz. Previously, she had been part of the #1 multifamily sales team for Grubb & Ellis nationwide in 2008 and 2009. Hilary began her career in commercial real estate in 2006 at Marcus & Millichap, working under a successful senior commercial real estate broker and learning the ropes.

Fredrick Burns has worked as an accountant in the real estate industry for the past 11 years. He last worked for real estate giant Kennedy Wilson on the commercial, retail & residential properties.  During this time he has worked on some of the most prestigious buildings in Southern California and was the lead accountant for the world famous Two Rodeo property located on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.

After Graduating from the University of North Texas, Fredrick began his career as an auditor in Dallas, Texas working for the Big 8 firm Deloitte Haskins & Sell. He continued as an auditor working in the industry as an internal auditor for bakery giant Campbell Taggart and then with Mutual of Omaha.

Fredrick has also worked on the Sunset & Westwood Marquis buildings. He is proficient in the use of real estate software packages Yardi & MRI.

Candy Blanchard joined Scott Properties Group in early 2013, as Property Management Coordinator and Assistant to our company President. 

Bilingual, fluent in Spanish, Candy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University Dominguez Hills, bringing over 10 years’ experience assisting high-level executive support roles in the construction, real estate, and property management fields, she prides herself in her diligent attention to detail, and is responsible for day-to-day office operations, has daily interaction with tenants addressing their questions and concerns, provides strong and effective accounting and administrative support, while working closely with our company president, property supervisors, maintenance team, and accounting department, performing a variety of tasks to keep the business running smoothly, efficiently, and operates seamlessly to ensure that Scott Properties mission is carried out effectively. 

Prior to joining Scott Properties, her administrative experience with Goldrich and Kest Industries, Amir Development, and Galaxy Medical Builders, provides the team with a very broad set of skills that include executive support, monthly reconciliation of accounts payable/receivable, maintenance of punch lists for multiple ongoing projects, processing of business licenses/city and county building permits, vendor and subcontractor liaison, event coordination, client liaison, CAM reconciliations, and a vast array of administrative functions and accounting duties.
